BSOD on start up & after sleep

I'm not overly computer savvy, so please bare with me. Was having problems with freezing and crashing, didn't have a good restore point, did a system recovery. That when the black screen with just a mouse, and also plain desktop background with just a mouse and nothing else started. Did a clean install of windows 7 last night, and am still having the same problem. The odd thing is it doesn't do it everytime. Sometimes it restarts and loads fine, but most of the time its just either a black screen ot desktop background with a mouse. PLEASE HELP! I don't know what else to do, I've also tried running sfc /scannow many times, finds no problems.

Check for an update on your graphics driver from Device Manager or go to the manufacturers website, download and install it.
