    netio.sys driver_irql_not_less_or_equal in windows 8


    Am using windows 8 from a week an till now i have experienced 2 random BSOD's like when am surfing internet or my computer is ideal in state sometimes it does not give BSOD but just shut-downs on its own an the reason in eventlog is due to explorer.exe and unplanned shut-down and am uploading a minidump file other one got accidentally erased thanks to ccleaner but i managed to save one so am uploading it hope you guys can help me out. Thanks

    Hi Jay,

    Looks like Avast! antivirus is creating a problem there, bugging your network/internet stuff. Uninstall avast! and check for updates on your network drivers and use Microsoft Security essentials instead. See if the problem persists.

    Were you able to install MSE on windows 8? I heard that it's not compatible with Windows 8.
