Random BSOD and programs crash, Ram settings wrong

    Typically no, especially if you are having success with 1 or 2 sticks installed. Do you know if triple channel mode is enabled though? That should be a setting in your BIOS.

    I'm pretty sure it's automatically enabled when I have 3 sticks in. When I had the 3 in CPUz reported it as running triple channel and now I'm running the 2 it shows dual channel

    Do you know your BIOS version? There is a BIOS release the enhanced memory compatibility that is available.

    Well... it's definitely a head scratcher for sure. I'll have to hit up my hardware buddy to know for sure. Maybe somebody else on these forums could offer some insight as well.

    I'm pretty sure that it's something like ram settings or something as the ram works fine in each slot no matter when I swap them around. It's just as soon as I use them as triple it doesn't like it

    Sometimes a BIOS settings adjustment can make the RAM stable.

    With a little more information I can suggest some adjustments.

    Can you download CPUZ and post a snip of the CPU, Mainboard, Memory, and SPD tabs.
    For posting the information , enter 'Snipping tool' in the Start button > Search box, hit enter. Select the area you want to post and save to a convenient place.

    Go to your BIOS and tell us what the CPU, RAM and the CPU integrated memory controller voltages (QPI/VTT voltage in your BIOS) are.

    Are you running F11 BIOS version?

    Thanks Dave. I reinput my timing settings and it seems to have made it stable and running now. Just 1 crash. Although I think If you can help me with the correct settings all should be fine.

    Set the DRAM voltage to 1.55v.
    Set the QPI/Vtt voltage to 1.20v.

    Change tRAS to 25, the 4th timing value,the first three are ok.
    First four timing settings should be 9,9,9,25, leave the rest on auto.
    Change the RAM 'Command Rate' to 2.

    I don't recommend using beta BIOS, F11 is the last non-beta version.
    Leave it for now, but may need to come back to this.

    Just changed the values and rebooted. Instantly have program crashes
