Yes, my Laptop originally came with 2GB of RAM then I added an extra 4GB of RAM about 3 months later. I've had my Laptop for about a year now.

Oddly when trying t run the System Info tool I get the error:

"Cannot access the Windows Management Instrumentation software. Windows Management files may be moved or missing."

It looks like I'm uncovering more issues with my PC than previously though

Do you still have a 32-bit version of Windows 7 installed? If so, 4GB of RAM will be recognised and 3.5GB RAM will be seen as usable. You should return the RAM if possible, or install a 64-bit operating system if you wish to use the 6GB RAM, otherwise the extra RAM is doing nothing (you can only use 4GB with a 32-bit OS).

Download Speccy, and then go to your UserCP and then click on Edit System Spec in the left pane, copy all the information from the Speccy program into the required fields for the Edit System Spec; these specifications will be attached to your every post on the forums.

Ok, I updated my system specs. Thanks for the Speccy link! It's a very helpful little tool. Also I didn't know that a 32-bit system can only use up to 4GB of RAM...that's certainly great to know for the future.

Any new BSODs from Driver Verifier yet?

Nothing yet and my system hasn't crashed yet either. I'll probably rerun it again for another 24 hour cycle once this one is completed just to be sure.

Ok, so I haven't had a BSOD error yet in the last 48 hours. What would be the next best step? It seems that running 1 RAM card is working well.

You have two slots on your motherboard, and the amount of RAM you own equates to 6GB; what is the amount of RAM you have installed in at the moment?

You must have a 2GB RAM stick and a 4GB RAM stick if I'm right? So, which one is plugged in your motherboard?

Correct, I have 2GB and 4 GB RAM stick. Currently I am running just the 4GB RAM stick in slot 2 of my motherboard.

That's fine then, a 32-bit operating system can only recognize 4GB RAM, therefore adding the other 2GB RAM would be pointless since Windows wouldn't recognize it.
