    BSOD ntoskrnl.exe file


    Hello, recently I've been getting BSoDs constantly lately and I have gotten nowhere near fixing this I feel like. When I run "WhoCrash" and analyze the dump file(s), I get this reading:
    On Fri 11/16/2012 9:26:10 PM GMT your computer crashed

    The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

    I'm not a "computer-nerd" as much and I'm not taking any classes on computer hardware so far until next year. But I haven't seen any topics that could help me possibly. I believe this may be an issue with memory (I've tried downloading and playing a game and the BSOD would pop-up)

    Your crash dumps are not showing any finite probable cause. In such a situation, it is better to enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.

    Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
    Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

    Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

    upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

    1. Click on the start button
    2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
    3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
    4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
    5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

    I did the Driver Verifier but where can I find the results? I restarted my laptop after setting it up and got a BSoD instantly on login. As for the MSINFO, I did as you said.

    I uninstalled MagicISO as it was one of the issues found. I will try to uninstall McAfee if I am able to. Right now my computer is super-slow and I'm getting BSoD's almost every time I'm trying to login and let everything load.

    Your step of uninstalling MagisIso is right. All the crashes indicated it. My anticipation was about magic Disc .... but they uses the same drivers.

    Boot into Safe Mode, anf then uninstall McAfee and MagicDisc, then try to boot normally again.

    Can you boot now? Or still it is crashing on boot/logon?

    I'm able to boot in normally now but for some reason my fan sounds like it's running a game and randomly a BSoD will occur if I try to do a disk cleanup. I'm not sure how to boot into safe mode anymore on my laptop.
    I managed to uninstall MagicISO and Magic Disk (I find it odd they decided to cause issues now because they never have) and McAfee I still have to uninstall. Is it security scan or SecurityCenter I need to uninstall? I haven't ran into any BSoD's since I logged on right now though

    Dont hesitate about uninstalling McAfee, entirely.

    Follow the steps there, use Microsoft Security essentials.

    I currently have MSE installed along with Malwarebytes antivirus program. Forgot to set MSE as firewalls because McAfee is currently taking it's place
