Make sure Driver Verifier is turned off, and Driver Verifier usually only gives out BSODs when the operating system has fully loaded as far as I'm aware.

Run a scan with this anti-rootkit program just to make sure:You could improve the performance of your hard-drive: Disk Defragmentation can take a while and the length of time needed is dependent upon how fragmented your hard-drive is.
