BSOD DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - booting up laptop

Undertook to do a Kaspersky Internet Security update for my father-in Law and -

Tried to remove Kas IS 2012, and laptop failed to reboot. I was able to recover to previous restore point from within safe-mode.

Tried to install demo Kas IS 2013, and laptop failed to reboot. again able to recover to previous point to previous recovery point.

Having tried following other forums suggestions to fully remove, I am now in the position that the Laptop can not be recovered to any other rstore point, so can only boot up in safe mode.

I am now getting Bug code 1d, 10,02,0
    Caused by Driver ndis,sys, crash address ntoskrnl.exe + 7efc0

Reading other threads on here I have downloaded the bluescreenviewer and driverdisplay.

I have also reloaded the driver for the WLAN adapter, same version, as not clear if there is actually a newer one.
I have also done an initial run and initial scan with PChealthboost following one of the links on here. seemed to progress further with windows initialisation, but still crashed with the same crash address.

Obviously as no network connectivity from problematic laptop, I'm having to relay everything through my own PC.

    Advice appreciated.
    Regards
