BSOD playing games (mass effect,...) or working on windows 0x0000007e

    Hello!

I have a problem with my ATI card, it makes a BSOD everytime when i play games or even shifting from Intel video card to ATI just for working... it works normally for a variable time and the bsod appears.

Thank you for reading this thread and for help <(_ _)>

The zip does not contain any crash dump.

Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD

Follow it manually in the default path: C:\Windows\Minidump or %SystemRoot%\Minidump.

    Update the crash dump here.

Well, it is caused by the display driver, atikmdag, sys, and which is extremely old.
    Code:

    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
    happening.
    Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000094, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffff8800500c779, The address that the exception occurred at

First search for any update in Acer's Place, http://support.acer.com/product/defa...x?modelId=1142, but all those are apparently very old.

You may search in Acer Aspire 8935G Windows 7 Drivers | Laptop Software too.

Or from ATI's website, AMD Graphics Drivers & Software

    Let us know the results.

You may go to AMD Graphics Driver and Software and opt for Automatically Detect and Install the appropriate driver for your card.

During installation, you may opt for advanced installation, and install the display driver only, not the Catalyst Control Center.
