    BSOD please save my Everquest

My computer goes BSOD with various messages while playing everquest. It happens about every 10 minutes. I've tried updating drivers and have tested my ram and swapped out the video card to no avail.

I'm attaching a SF Diagnostic log in the hopes that someone can help me

    Welcome to SevenForums.
    1. You need to install all updates including Service Pack 1.
    2. BSOD Netio.sys by Antivirus: Norton is a frequent cause of BSOD-s. Uninstall using the Norton Removal Tool and use Microsoft Security Essentials (TO TEST). *Update your network drivers.
    3. Reinstall your graphics card drivers. (Latest version is a bit buggy, download the version from this link.)
    4. Check for a BIOS update:
    Code:
    BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. 2102, 6/17/2010
    5. System File Checker.

    • Click on the
    • Type CMD on Search
    • Left click and Run as Administrator
    • Type SFC /scannow

    Full tutorial here:

    6. Disk Check:

    7. Scan for viruses: (With MSE and Malware Bytes Free)
Run this tool and delete anything it finds:

Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.

Run a full scan with both (separately) once downloaded, installed and updated.
Let us know the results and further BSOD-s.

    Thank you Koolkat.

I was able to do everything on your list I believe, except perhaps update the network drivers as I was not sure what you meant. I checked and my wireless router is on the most current driver. I use the onboard ethernet port.

I bsod a few times while running the MSE scan...and again when I fired up everquest (after about 10 minutes). I'm attaching a new file from the SF diagnostic tool.

    Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving :)

    I need more specific answers.
    1. Did SFC scan find any errors?
    2. Did TDS killer find any virus?
    3. Malware bytes?
    4. BIOS update?
    5. Windows update?
    6. Uninstalled Norton?
Upload a screenshot of your hard disk using crystal disk info and "summary" tab using Speccy:

    Test your hard drive:
