I asked my friend Britton30 to a have a look. He will guide you much better than me in finding the appropriate BIOS and updating it.

I did for the SSD, the update would not complete.

And I asked last post where about could I find BIOS update?
I will need the full model number of your PC/laptop or motherboard model if it's self built. Do this please:

To help us help you would you please add your systems specs? Here's how:SystemInfo See Your System Specs Under System Manufacturer/Model Number add whether it is a desktop or laptop and whether self built.

Log in to Seven Forums and you will be able to transfer the info directly to the specs page in your profile from within the System Info app.
After doing this your specs will be available in each of your posts. Click on My system Specs in the lower left of this post to see how it should look.:)
Full instructions are in the tutorial.

    Lovely thank you, Arc.

Ok Britton, I followed the instructions and they should now be under my posts :) Thanks for your time

The Seatools would fail to run a Long scan after starting for 1 second.
    The Disk check found nothing.
The SSD will not update and says the drive isn't ready to be accessed.

Well, I can find no newer BIOS than you have. Fujitsu probably have not updated it.

Gary, can you please help us, why the seatool is failing, and the firmware update, too?

We can try Crystal Disk to see if that will work.
The OS seems to have the SSD locked for the firmware upgrade. Try shutting down, disconnecting the SSD, boot to BIOS, shut down reconnect it and try the firmware again. I am not familiar with the OCZ upgrades.

For Seatools, it may have been a poor download, see if a new one will run for you.

OCZ seems to be fishy since their support forum is full of people getting the same errors. They also say I should always be using the drive in ACHI mode whilst mine is in IDE. However, booting it in ACHI ensues multiple restarts which seem endless.

Seatools redownloaded/burned to new disk, same problem.

No blue screens for 26hours, non constant use.

First BSOD since last reports. Driver verifier was running at the time. Soon as I clicked a link on a website it BSOD. BAD POOL HEADER was the message I think.

Talking with the OCZ SSD forum people to help me upgrade, seems it's a common problem that the FW wont update correctly.

    Some hardware tests to run.

    Graphics card:

    RAM (memory):
This will require memtest on a bootable CD or USB stick.

Memtest86 did 5 passes, and never found an error each time, more so the Furtest went for 30mins+ and never had negative results. Is there any logs for me to upload from these?
