They won't send a new one, the warranty says it will be rebuilt. I got my same board back from them 3 times.
Yeah 38C is fine for a light load. Good idea to add a fan too, and I would recommend you install it as an intake, pump more cool air in.

Intake from the top? Don't think it will matter with the whole "heat rises" thing? I can't really install a front fan, maybe a side fan, actually. Side would probably be better for intake I think. Only thing is I'd have to put it somewhere else, because right now that side of the case is right against the side of my couch. (I have it in between two couches, but the other couch is pulled out so I have room to put it on its side.)
My theory is to blow cool air in and push hot air out rather than hoping the case has enough holes so exhaust fans will pull in cool air. I have mine set up with a top intake which blows directly on the CPU cooler and the rear exhaust is pulling hot air right out.
I was going to suggest a side fan too, say, a large 200MM or so. It would bring cooler air right into the GPU and CPU and create positive pressure to help keep dust out better. You should keep at least a 4", 100MM clearance all around the case.
Alrighty I can see the usefullness to that.
I was actually just looking at a Newegg TV video on 200mm fan, and looks to be the most useful fan (and easiest) to put onto my case.
I could, theoretically, just take off the side cover, drill a bunch of holes in some kind of "grill" fashion, then install a 200mm. I think I'll have to check this out...

Alright, over 24 hours, and then right as I'm watching an episode, right before bed, I get another system_service_exception 3b. Minidump provided. If its the video card drivers, could you tell me how exactly I should install them? It seems no matter what way I install them, they always get messed up...

Have you used Driver Sweeper to first remove all the old drivers? Get the newest one and save to your desktop first, unzip it to its own folder.
Run Driver Sweeper, then go to Device manager, Display adapter, it should have a yellow triangle on it. Right click, choose Update or Install driver, Browse My Computer. Point to the folder where you have the driver and OK.
This should install only the driver without the CCC which causes problems.

Alright, I haven't used Driver Sweeper, but I used the program that replaced it once. It didn't delete everything as you had to pay to get all the features so I didn't bother using again. I'll try that after I install the hotfix. I see it lists a few of the sys files that were listed before with these crashes.

Were the RAM adjustments/issues sorted?
The dump files are useless until RAM gets fixed. Damaged RAM causes crashes everywhere.
I thought they were, had no crashes for over 24 hours, but just got that 3b crash late last night and one more just now. I've tried contacting Gigabyte, but they apparently don't have customer support on weekends, so I have to wait until tomorrow.
Right now I'm installing the hotfix and some other windows updates.
Actually, I'll see if G.Skill can help me. Maybe they have customer support on weekends.
EDIT: Well, as usual, I have spoke too soon. What was that? 5 minutes? Another 3b. Would it be useful looking at its minidump now that I've changed a bunch of things for the memory and it might be fixed?
