Black screen and BSOD while playing online game - help

It has been 3 days i am experiencing problem with my windows 7 64 bit on my laptop.

    Laptop specs:
    Asus K42Jr
    i7 1.73 GHz Windows 7 64 bit SP1
8 GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD5470

The attached is the SF folder from "Grab All".

Black screen appeared while playing online game. And followed by Windows Error Recovery page with the options to go into safe mode (with networking/command prompt) or just normal boot up. I have experienced this for 3 days. At least once or twice a day.

After selecting to go into windows normally.. I will get a BSOD after a while of using/playing with the laptop.

The following is the BSOD error:

    win32k.sys

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

    Technical Information:
    STOP: 0x00000050 (0xFFFFFFFF96011E36, 0x0000000000000001, 0xFFFFF9600026D4BA, 0x0000000000000005)

    win32k.sys - Address FFFFF96000070000, Datestamp 5080499a

I don't know what is wrong with it. Is it hardware or software failure?
Any help on this will be very much appreciated!! Thank you.

    Welcome to SevenForums.

Does the laptop have a cooling pad? Do you check the temperatures generated while gaming?

For monitoring the heat/celsius of the system, use Speccy or HWinfo:

Posting a snip of the summary tab would be helpful:

How old is the laptop? Is it under warranty?

    Test RAM.

Take memtest. Run for 8 passes and test each stick in a know good slot for an additional 6 passes.

The goal is to test all the RAM sticks and all the motherboard slots.

Check your motherboard manual to ensure the RAM sticks are in the recommended motherboard slots. Some motherboards have very specific slots required for the number of RAM sticks installed.

If you get errors, stop the test and continue with the next step.

    1. Remove all but one stick of RAM from your computer (this will be RAM stick #1), and run Memtest86 again, for 7 passes.
*Be sure to note the RAM stick, use a piece of tape with a number, and note the motherboard slot.
If this stick passes the test then go to step #3.

    2. If RAM stick #1 has errors, repeat the test with RAM stick #2 in the same motherboard slot.
*If RAM stick #2 passes, this indicates that RAM stick #1 may be bad. If you want to be absolutely sure, re-test RAM stick #1 in another known good slot.
*If RAM stick #2 has errors, this indicates another possible bad RAM stick, a possible motherboard slot failure or inadequate settings.
    3. Test the next stick of RAM (stick #2) in the next motherboard slot.
*If this RAM stick has errors repeat step #2 using a known good stick if possible, or another stick.
*If this RAM stick has no errors and both sticks failed in slot#1, test RAM stick #1 in this slot.
    4. If you find a stick that passes the test, test it in all the other motherboard slots.

If Part 2 testing shows errors, and all tests in Part 3 show errors, you will need to test the RAM sticks in another computer and/or test other RAM in your computer to identify the problem.

In this way, you can identify whether it is a bad stick of RAM, a bad motherboard, or incompatibility between the sticks.
Errors are sometimes found after 8 passes.
Do this test overnight, before going to bed.

Yes, it has a cooling pad and I did not check the temp generated while gaming :/

The laptop is 2 years old and it is not under warranty anymore.

Screenshot taken from CPUID (it is done when I'm not gaming though, let me know if I need to submit another screenshot to show the temp when I'm gaming):
    Attachment 244633

I will take the RAM test tonight. Now I'm still preparing the CD for it.

Those look rather high and they may be higher while gaming.

Did you take the parts off and clean the dust out earlier?

Google..or a friend who can help you with doing that?

Will wait for results from memtest.

I attached the screenshot showing the temp while gaming.

How to Clean Dust From a Laptop | eHow.com - done
How to Clean a Laptop Computer | Overstock.com - I need to find out how to do this.

Extra info: I feel that Windows boots up rather slow these days about 2-3mins to boot it up and the touch pad on the laptop gets rather hot/warm at times. Could it be overheating problem?

I have done the first step of the memtest last night showing 8 passes and no errors in the morning so I will be doing the third step tonight.

It has 3 years global warranty but i'm living in a country that only provides 2 years warranty so it is technically not under warranty anymore.

So this is for sure an overheating problem with the laptop? I wonder does taking the parts out to clean helps to reduce the temp? I might give it a try.
