Still cant get my head around the bios, where do i dowload the new bios, or how do i update it?
Can you confirm if this is your laptop here:
UKT Support - Advent Roma Laptop

If so, it says that it is basically a rebadged ECS I50IL1 (you should see I50IL1 printed on the underside of the laptop)

    Going to the ECS website:
ECS Web Site > I50IL - Notebook Computer
    shows no BIOS updates.

I can not recommend flashing a BIOS with anything other than a file provided by the manufacturer. Sometimes the manufacturer mods a standard file.

Perhaps you could try resetting the BIOS:

    • Shut off the laptop > remove the power supply > remove the laptop battery
    • Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds or so
    • Reassemble everything and start up.

Does your laptop have the model number I50IL1 printed on the underside?

Did you do the reset procedure I posted above?

Well, given that ECS does not offer a BIOS update (or even an original BIOS) then I do not recommend that you attempt a BIOS flash. That could make your problem worse.

When a system just shuts down while in the BIOS Settings that pretty much rules out any OS or software problem. Yours is a hardware problem.

Computers that just shut down - and this mean OFF, not rebooting, restarting, or freezing - are most often afflicted by overheating. The CPU in particular has a self protection feature that allows it to shut down the system before any damage can be done to the processor. Some graphics chips have this ability also.

When is the last time you cleaned it?

A secondary common cause is power problems. A failing laptop battery can cause this sort of behavior. You can test this by removing the battery and run the machine on the power supply only.

There is power switching circuitry on the MB that can also be a cause, but that is generally unrepairable (absent a MB replacement) so we want to rule out all the common causes first.

Sorrry , my fking internet contract expired and had to wait 1 week for them to come and bring me a new modem...and shit
I think i found out where the problem might be
The system was shut down due to a critical thermal event.
    Shutdown Time = ‎2012‎-‎12‎-‎24T12:48:16.320094500Z

    There you go. Overheating.

The first thing to try is clean the laptop out. Then test.
How To Clean Dust From Your Laptop - YouTube

Also consider your operating conditions. My daughter was using her laptop on her bed, with a big fluffy comforter, that basically blocked all the ventilation holes and she overheated. I gave her a large piece of cardboard to keep under the laptop. Problem solved.

There is the possibility that the laptop fan has failed or is failing. The test:
Cut a 1 inch square out of a single sheet of tissue paper or toilet paper. With the laptop running, and carefully held up on edge, place the square over the intake vent for the main fan. It should be held there. If it falls off there is not enough air flow and a problem.
    The intake is usually here:
    Attachment 247001

See if that yields any more information.
