    Computer Restarts after Boot-Up

    Hi,

So I installed Windows 7 on my computer and it went through smoothly. I boot up and was able to install my Motherboards Network Drivers(Abit KN9 SLI). After that I tried to install the drivers for my network adapter(Linksys 300N). When I started to move the files from my external Harddrive(Maxtor 320GB USB powered) the computer restarted. After that, I resumed to moving the files and extracting them. The computer restarted halfways. After that i got worse. I would barely load up the OS and the computer would restart. At first i thought it was the OS. I tried re-installing the OS. I would get to install>Custom Install>[Partition D:] 279GB > And the installation process would begin. From the process it went from Copying Windows Files. Did it in a second and then it would begin on the second one. Before it hit 0% it would restart again. I don't know if it was the install of the OS or the Drivers that automatically installed, which I found it very weird because in the past, I would have to install these drivers my self using .exe's. Here's my set-ups:

    CPU: AMD Anthlon 5400+
    Socket: AM2
Memory: 1 GB Single Channel. 2 GB Total.
    Motherboard: Abit KN9 SLI
    Graphics:
    Nvidia 7300 GT 256 Mb PCI-e
    Nvidia 7300 GT 256 Mb PCI-e
    Hard Drives:
First Hard Drive: 320 Gb Western Digital
    Partition C: 'Whopper' 40 Gb
    Partition D: 269 GB
Second Hard Drive: 1.5 TB Seagate
Partition F: 'Tera Monster' ~879 Gb
    Partition G: 500 Gb

Help would be very much appreciated.

    UPDATE:

I also tried to re-install windows by formating the partition (D: ) and reinstalling. Format was succesful, but the install went as usual above. So I can't boot in safe mode anymore.

Try disconnecting everything that is not absolutely necessary for installation.. drives, usb devices, extra monitors, extra video cards, sli, everything... then reinstall.. let us know how it goes... Good Luck...
