Do you have an additional cooling pad for the laptop?
And how old is it? Warranty status?

OK, get one if possible. Also post your specs please. Your laptop model/make.
    1. Click on User CP on the top right of this page
    2. Click on Edit System Spec
    3. Fill in your computer specs

Have you ever dismantled and cleared the dust inside the laptop?

Check videos on youtube on how to do that.

    Post specs please.

Maybe you can ask a friend to help you with opening the case.

Which browser do you use? Try disabling hardware acceleration.

That's long. Are you willing to do one now?

If yes, link to the tutorial is here:

After the clean install make sure you have the latest and Chipset/MB drivers, Video drivers, sound card drivers etc. Do not install any non essential programs.

For older hardware sometimes lowering the clock of the GPU (or hardware component) helps.

BTW, have you performed hard drive and memory tests?
