    BSOD while installing Graphics driver for EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti


    I have an EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti, wanted to update the driver, and it kept giving me a BSOD. When I play games it never gives me a BSOD. I've attached the dump to this thread. Could someone help me figure out what the problem is? A while ago, I had a RAM problem, but I bought new RAM and it was running great until just now. Thanks much for your time and effort.

    It looks like you have Driver Verifier enabled, this may be left over from the last time you had BSOD problems (Im guessing some one asked you to enable driver verifier). try disabling driver verifier by following this tutorial:

    Thanks for the quick respond. I did that, was able to install the driver, and it was going well all day until I got another BSOD while playing Civilization 5.

    hmmm.....just for postarities sake please run both of the tests from the following tutorial, and post the graphs that it generates:

    NVIDIA/AMD Video Card - Test with OCCT
