    BSOD driver power state failure shut-down issues


    I have zipped the minidump file and have been having this issue for quite some time . I would appreciate the help

    I cannot read the file with my visual studio, "error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component.1'

    So what should I do? I never dealt with drivers before so I am a bit new to this.

    Whatever manufacturer made your system (Dell, HP, etc.), you'll want to go to their website's tech support and locate that page specific for your system and download the updated drivers they have listed for that machine then install them, especially the ones related to your wireless network and bluetooth.

    but my laptop is a custom built with hp. I cannot find the type of device it even is.

    Can you tell us the model of the HP laptop ? We could then locate the right driver for you .

    Did you manage to locate the driver?

    Update your System Specifications with Speccy, and then copy this information into your System Specifications: Go to your UserCP, and then select Edit System Spec in the left pane. Copy the information from Speccy into the required fields. These System Specifications will then follow your every post.
