    Thanks Arc for your reply.
I turned on driver verifier, and left it on for about 24 hours - no crashes were seen.

I will start the memory diagnostic now, will keep the thread posted. Thanks.

I tried both of these below:
    ** Memtest86+ V4.20 (25/01/2011) **

with a USB stick, and setup bios for boot from USB. (with the unzip .iso/.bin file in the usb stick)

In both cases, after switching on, it says it could not find an operating system. Is there a step I am missing here?

In the meantime, I saw another blue screen after resuming from sleep. Attaching the dmp files with rest of the info (latest dump file on 6th Jan)...

The crash dump is as silent as it was earlier.

Follow the part 2 of RAM - Test with Memtest86+ again.

    Turn USB Selective Suspense off.

How many passes did you make with memtest86+?
How many hours did it take?

Use Real Temp , to check the CPU temps when at idle, under load and/or testing.
Let us know the minimum and maximum temps you get.

I had left the memtest overnight. it took about 11hrs to go over 7 passes. i have a 8 gb ram.

regarding the temperatures, the temp is around 40 deg under very little load, and it goes upto around 50 deg under 20% load. at a load of 90 to 95%, the temp hovers between 60 - 65 degrees.

I saw 2 more crashes in the last one week, I hadn't turned off usb selective suspend (suggested by arc). I will do that now.. and watch for crashes.
