Yes, the I only did the install 1-2 days ago. I have, for the most part, not done any Windows Update (besides one that downloaded by itself).
OK. Please start with this before you upload any .DMP files:
1. Download and save this tool to your desktop:
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012
2. Run the tool, and then click 'Copy' - ignore any errors if they appear
3. Use CTRL+V to paste the unedited results of the validation tool here in your next reply

Is it okay if I stop with MemTest and go ahead and use the tool then?

Before I go ahead with MemTest again, would it be a good idea to set my motherboard and CPU to their default settings and then check to make sure my RAM is set up correctly?
Hi,
When you eventuallyactivate this installation, you must install this update too:
Description of the update for Windows Activation Technologies
I would reset any changes you have made (incl. overclocking) and CMOS back to default settings first before running MemTest86+
You can quickly test and eliminate problems with the CPU using this:
CPU - Stress Test Using IntelBurnTest
Regards,
Golden
I was under the impression that I'd already activated my Windows installation. During the Windows installation, I put in my activation key. I've been using a Windows 7 key that I got from a pre-built machine. At this point, I've upgraded everything from the pre-built apart from the HDD, which I've kept. The Windows product key is only active on one machine though, my current one.
I've also used Intel Burn Test in the past @ maximum stress level to test my CPU @ these same overclock settings for more than 5 runs, and that checked out fine.
Edit: My CPU is @ 4.6ghz with a 1.32 vcore and everything else on auto.
