BSOD playing Youtube, Zune

    Multiple BSODs playing Youtube, Zune


    The title explains it, appears to be an audio issue. This is a brand new PC.

    Well looks like you have two different errors - Bugcheck 1a ( MEMORY_MANAGEMENT) and Bugcheck 3b (SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION)... both usually caused when memory pointers are not refereneced properly.

    I would suggest you do a memtest on each RAM at each slot for atleast 7 to 8 passes...This could take some time.

    If you are getting errors that would mean you have a problem with one of the RAM stick.. if not.. then i will let you know the next step.

    Yeah I'm getting tons of errors from memtest, I guess it's time to get the computer serviced.

    Al right

    Was it the RAM slot or the RAM stick that was the problem ??

    If its the slot... then you would need to get the motherboard checked or replaced

    If it the RAM ... it just a matter of buying new one to complement your existing ones

Playing FLV video with Zune Software

I have Shark007's codecs installed on Windows 7 64 bit SP1. I can play all kinds of files including FLV videos using WMP12. But Zune 4.7 software can't open FLV files. Does Zune not support Shark007's codecs?
