    Hi guys,

Thanks for the fast replies. :)

I've finished the verifier and have attached the msinfo files.

    Problematic software:
    Code:
    1. Start Menu\Programs\avast! Free Antivirus Public:Start Menu\Programs\avast! Free Antivirus Public
    2. Start Menu\Programs\COMODO Public:Start Menu\Programs\COMODO Public
    3. Start Menu\Programs\COMODO\COMODO Firewall Public:Start Menu\Programs\COMODO\COMODO Firewall Public
Not the best security software. Comodo contributes in BSOD-s.

Please uninstall them with their removal tool:
    1. avast! Uninstall Utility | Download aswClear for avast! Removal
    2. comodo-uninstall-tool

You may also use the free version of Revo uninstaller.

Uninstall using Advanced Mode - to clear leftover registry entries of the program.

    Microsoft Security Essentials.
Recommended from a strict BSOD perspective, compatibility & stability compared to other antiviruses/internet security software. It is free and lightweight:-
       Warning
Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.

Run a full scan with both (separately) once downloaded, installed and updated.

    Perform a System File Check:
    1. Click on the start
    2. Type CMD on Search
    3. Left click and Run as Administrator
    4. Type SFC /scannow

    Full tutorial here:

Disk Check on your hard drive for file system errors and bad sectors on it:

Reduce items at start-up. Nothing except anti-virus is required:

Let us know if this including the above steps have helped.

    Good luck.

Ok, I had the verifier activated for more than a day and I did not get a BSOD, the laptop just slowed down while it is active.

Ive also uninstalled and reinstalled the Atheros and Nvidia drivers, then uninstalled comodo. I run the scans, including SFC and disk check, and the results did not show any problems. Does this mean that the problem is fixed?

Probably - Have disabled verifier now?

I'd wait for a week before marking as solved.
