No voltage changes?
No voltage changes?
Did the seven passes. No errors. Will let the system run normally with the current settings until Friday. If no blue screens happen, I'll make a summary post of the problem/solution and mark this as solved.
Whoops, forgot to update.
Anyways, everything normal, working good. No bluescreens.
Summay: despite different bccodes, and most of them pointing to memory, turns out it was simply a matter of having the motherboard's power saving setting enabled while Windows 7's own Power Options minimum processor state set to max. The result was that the CPU's voltage would drop to "idle" power, but the CPU clock speed would remain full.
So anyways, thanks for your help, Dave. Love the sevenforums site; has helped me in the past with just searching - though this is the first time I needed to actually post!
Solved!
Good news.
Great work finding the cause, your explanation makes sense, these kind of settings do cause problems.
You welcome, enjoy.
