    Computer screen suddenly starts ghosting

Good day to you all and i thank you for taking time to look at my dilemma . I am not sure whether this qualifies as a crash problem as i have never encountered a BSOD but i suspect that it is the closet sign to it. Well i have an hp pavilion g7 1251si laptop with i5-2430M 4Gb RAM 64bit OS win 7 Prem AMD Radeon HD 6470M.............. it runs pretty smoothly except for one rather daunting problem , the screen suddenly starts ghosting out of nowhere. I have had some experience with computers but this problem is one i have never heard of ............ there is no BSOD or error message after i switch off the laptop off and on again ............. and it does not do this ghosting consistently or after a specific time or task . So i can be doing something as simple as document editing and it happens. It has been more than 3 months since it last occurred and it has only happened about 5 times in the year since i purchased this laptop. Its still under warranty but i cannot go and claim it if i cannot specifically show them the problem and regardless am not comfortable with backing up and transferring all my files all over again. I am worried that this is an issue that if not dealt with could have future repercussions so any assistance is greatly appreciated. As as last resort i try to randomly press keys such as caps and num lock when this happens but to no avail. The only responsive button seems to be the power button.I have uploaded a photo of the laptop ghosting to help clear things up. I am worried that this is an issue that if not dealt with could have future repercussions so any assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Try booting into Safe mode.

Turn laptop on. And tap the F8 key. Untill you see a menu with some options - Select Safe mode.

Browse around the laptop normally as you would. See if you can replicate the issue. If the laptop seems ok.

It could be graphics card driver
