Blue Screen When I Plug in Kindle Fire hd 7"

    Hello Again.
this is the same problem i put in another thread but after a recommendation i am making a new heading and hopefully this time i will correctly upload the diagnostic file. If it doesn't work this time I'm afraid i don't know what im doing wrong. Out of curiosity how long does that program need to run for? because it gave me the file about an hour ago but the green loading bar is still moving. does it ever stop? I also have another issue on another pc, but have decided it would be best to have 2 separate threads. I hope that is ok i have no intention of blowing up these forums and aggravating anyone.

Hi Sixnails and welcome to SF :),

I looked at your dump files and the cause of your BSOD's point towards

usbfilter AMD USB Filter Driver Kernel 10/7/2009 3:44:08 AM
The usbfilter.sys is the AMD USB filter driver, a component of the AMD chipset drivers.

You can try updating the usbfilter.sys. Latest version of the AMD South Bridge driver available from AMD. Installing the full Catalyst drivers should also give the option to install the AMD USB filter driver.

The AMD USB filter driver, an optional driver, is intended to improve USB performance but sometimes causes issues.

I would also suggest to update the usbport.sys and usbehci.sys to the SP1 version.

You can use this tool to update:

    http://code.kliu.org/.etc/7601usbfix/

Create a System Restore point first and reboot at least twice after applying.

    Hope this helps

    Cheers

    Dave

Most of the dumps are 0xd1 errors BSOD Index which would indicate a faulting driver, most of the dumps blame usbfilter.sys this seems to be part of your amd chipset drivers as is dated 2009 your mobo has updated drivers ASRock > 970 Extreme3 give it a go see how you get on
