Got another BSOD trying to unzip a file to install Photoshop lol. Anyway, halfway through unzipping my computer freezes and then BSODs. This is the same copy of PS CS4 I've been using for about 3 years now. I don't think the problem on this BSOD was something inside the zip but rather just trying to unload its contents?
But anyway, after the reboot, I don't bother to unzip PS CS4, instead I try to open IE to post the new .dmp file. I experience a crash loop in IE and so it's impossible to close. Had to Ctrl Alt Del it-- posting from Chrome (surprise).
Well, looks like it's another NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM (24) error.
EDIT: restarted just now, tried unzipping file again-- everything went smooth. Seems like my BSOD crashes either like to be consistent with similar tasks when they happen or inconsistent :\
Small suggestion. Unplug all things from your usb connection not needed. Such as hard drives, printers, phone, flash drive, ect. The reason.
The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load for the device WpdBusEnumRoot\UMB\2&37c186b&0&STORAGE#VOLUME#_??_USBSTOR#DISK&VEN_GENERIC&PROD_STORAGE_DEVICE&REV_9 404#000000000000&0
Some times a flash drive (thumb drive) (memory stick) is causing this problem.
