    Hey Guys,
Well i guess, i need to say thank you all. It might be too early but looks like it's sorted. I am downloading a torrent file but no effect thus far. If it would have been yesterday, i might have had a BSOD already. KoolKat, you the man. Thank you brother for all the support. Arch, cmon man just one for the road, forget your oath . And britton with the US flag in your profile , thanks for that advice too.

I did most of the things that Arch and KoolKat had suggested. I am starting up with only security essential, uninstalled everything u have asked and re-installed atheros driver. Installing driver was tricky though because the one i downloaded from your link didn't have the exe. file so i couldn't run the damn thing. But lucky enough someone in this forum had given out the other down link in some other post so that saved my day. I did complete scan with both EOD, security essential and also used Kaspersky to scan rootkit, nothing turned up. Maybe it was the drive caused BSOD and i suspect the atheros. Nonetheless, i can say i am free from BSOD for now (touchwood) and many thanks to you all.

DevD be sure you run only one AV with active protection at one time, 2 can cause BSODs too.

Ps:. I have not taken any oath.

    Hey Guys,
Great news. Two days of continuous torrent downloading and no BSOD. Much appreciated. Arc, well don't judge the book by its cover ;-). Britton, Cheers bud!
