    BSOD whenever i'm running any program


    i just bought this dell inspiron N5110 two months ago. Three weeks after i bought it, i always get a blue screen usually every two to three days. I took it back to the dell store where i bought it to complain, all they did was a factory reset. Even after the reset, i still get the blue screen regularly.

    Although, the system came with a 6Gig RAM(4Gig and 2Gig) i removed one of them at a time to test if either one of them is bad, and what i get in both cases is still a blue screen. i also ran a system test using the dell support centre software that came with the system and all system components tested passed the test 100%.

    I also used the windows memory diagnostic tool and no errors were found. I finally tried whoCrashed.exe. it
    provided a report i don't really understand.

    i've attached a zip file containing the result of the SF Diagnostic Tool test i ran and also a text file
    containing whoCrashed's results.

    Please enable Driver verifier and allow it to crash your system then post the new files here the same way you did in your first post:

    Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

    Warning: If you can not boot windows normally after enabling driver verifier please boot into Safe Mode and then disable driver verifier.

    I enabled verifier following the instructions that was given by the link you provided. I restarted my system immediately after enabling it.

    When i got to my logon screen, i typed my password but my system won't take me to my desktop. Instead,
    it displayed a blue screen and crashed.

    i tried this three times and it crashed with a blue screen each time.

    I finally booted into safe mode and then disabled verifier then i was able to login into my system without the
    any crash.

    OK it looks like the cause of your crashes is coming from the connectify drivers, you may want to check and see if there is an update for the program or try uninstalling and then reinstalling. If you go the route of uninstalling and reinstalling please see this tutorial to make sure it is completely gone before you reinstall:

    Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling

    i uninstalled and reinstalled connectify and that solved the problem. i've been using the system
    for two weeks now without getting any BSOD. Thanks a lot
