BSOD 0x124 without reason again and again

    Hello!

I've got big troubles with my notebook Acer Aspire 5740G for around two months now.
The notebook is 2.5 years old, so I have no more warranty in my country (Austria).

It started in November 2012 with a bluescreen (the first one)
    I've always had only 0x124-Codes.

I've cleaned the fan, renewed the thermal compounds, tested the RAM, CPU, HDD.
I also got an screen with only batterie/ only powercable.
I still have no clue what it could be.
At end of December, I reinstalled Windows 7 Home Premium x64
(With an Acer, I can always reinstall the original condition), but it didn't get better...

I'm not a gamer, I'm using this notebook mostly for surfing. But it also happened offline (doing nothing/surfing/watching vids/visiting websites,etc.).
    --> No overclocking/what else

Temperatures should be ok (I logged temperatures, I did stress-tests, but no results)

There's one more strange thing I want to say: Sometimes, I have no Bluescreens over days.
But whe I get one, it's more likely to get another one very soon.
Short time ago, it happend 3 or 4 times within an hour.
But the time before, there was nothing for 2 days.

I'm adding some interesting logs/what else could be interesting.
(some randomly picked dumpfiles/an overview about the Bluescreens/a CPU-Z reportfile

And here's a pic from a Bluescreen long time ago (but it always looks like this...)
    Strange....

Hope, someone here may help me.

    Greetings!

OK so had a look at your crash dumps and generally a stop 124 indicates a hardware error or over heating, on that note, since it is a laptop please run Prime95 and post your results. Too before you run prime95 pleas run SpeedFan and post a screen shot so that we can get a base line of the temperatures.

    Screenshot and Upload using MWSnap

The error is caused by an unknown processor error. You may have software that is corrupting registers or interfering with the processor's PECI channel.

Unless this is a stand-alone remote computer, un-install the Intel Management Engine Interface. (hecix64.sys, et al.)

Turn off HWMonitor.exe and leave it off.

If you're running any other hardware monitoring software/gadgets, turn them off too.

Reboot then follow Dsprague's instructions about running Prime95. Do NOT install any more hardware monitoring software until you remove or disable the others. Never run more than one at a time.

    Thanks guys!
I'm gonna do this later that day.
I wanne be next to my notebook when I'm running Prime95, so I'm gonna do this later.

The strange thing is: After the first crashes I was looking what could have caught this error - but i didn't install any programms the last 3 weeks before the first crash.
Also I wasn't running any monitoring tools that time.

I also changed my antivirus-software (now avast!, bevore avira antivir)

After reinstallation of W7, I got most of the crap OEM-Software again, but I allready uninstalled the most. Only these that sound helpful are still on my laptop (Blu_Ray-Player, Energy-Management,...)

But I'll follow your advice and report what happened!
    Thx guys!

I tried to uninstall the "Intel Management Engine Interface", but after restart Windows installed it by itself.
    So I deactivated it.

I started running Prime95, took some screenshots in the meanwhile.
Alltogether, Prime ran over 2hours, and the when I stopped, it couldn't find an error.
Here are some pics before starting, during the test and afterwards (~20-30 secs after stopping)

    Greetings!

    Hey guys!
I haven't had a Bluescreen for one week now.
To be more specific: Since i deactivated the Intel Management Engine Interface as told.
I really think, this caused the problems.

Hope, my notebook will stay as the last week now and I wanna thank you guys!
    You're doing great work!

    Greetings!
