    Computer freezing a lot

I feel something is wrong with my explorer.exe because it seems to freeze and then just lock up my whole system. I am not getting blue screens, but I am forced to restart the PC every time.

    Hi er111a,

Please run 'Hardware Diagnostics' to confirm 'Hardware functionality': http://dell.to/OUGnqT
    - Capture and share the details of 'error(s)' if any

If no 'hardware issues' are detected, please run 'SFC Scannow' and share the CBS.log file for further investigation: SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Do reply with the findings; would be glad to assist.

    Hi er111a,

Glad that the 'System Hardware' passed the 'Diagnostics'.
The attached file 'sfcdetails.zip' does not have any information. Please re-check and share the 'logs' again.

Do reply with the findings; will take it forward from there.

    Hi er111a,

You may navigate to the 'CBS.log' file using the path C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log > Copy 'CBS.log file' to your desktop and open it in notepad > You may attach this file in your post

You may also follow 'Option 3' in this tutorial to capture the information: SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Computer Crashing when put to sleep/hibernate

    Ntfs.sys Ntfs.sys+133a5 fffff880`0140f000 fffff880`015b2000 0x001a3000 0x5040d4c6 8/31/2012 11:14:14 AM
    ntoskrnl.exe ntoskrnl.exe+751e9 fffff800`0320f000 fffff800`037f6000 0x005e7000 0x50e79935 1/4/2013 11:08:37 PM Microsoft® Windows® Operating System NT Kernel & System 6.1.7601.18044 (win7sp1_gdr.130104-1431) Microsoft Corporation C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
These seem to be the main problems. Whenever I am putting the computer to sleep it crashes and if it doesn't crash then it'll crash when I start it up. I'm really unsure what is causing the problems because this only started after having the Studio XPS for about 8 months or so.
    Thank you for the help!

I tried to attach the log. However, it is much to big for this forum

    Hi er111a,

Thank you for updating us with the status.

The 'mini-dump' is missing from the attached file. Please ensure that 'Windows' in your system is configured to create a dump on 'Blue screen': Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD

Also follow the steps in the following tutorial to capture and share the files again: Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions

With the limited information, I found that you have 3 anti-virus software installed in the notebook. This is a potential cause for the 'Blue screen errors' (Not more than 1 anti-virus is required).

    Code:
    Start Menu\Programs\avast! Free Antivirus
    Start Menu\Programs\Bitdefender 2012
    Start Menu\Programs\McAfee Security Scan Plus
Please install the following 'uninstaller tools' to remove these programs one by one:
    - Click http://files.avast.com/files/eng/aswclear.exe > Follow through with the on-screen instructions > Restart the system
    - Install http://www.bitdefender.com/files/Kno...stall_Tool.exe > Restart the system
    - Click http://download.mcafee.com/products/...tches/MCPR.exe > Install the file > Restart the system
    - Click Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows to download and install the file. This is a free 'anti-virus' from 'Microsoft' (Use it to see if it fixes the errors)

Hope this helps. Do reply with the findings; would be glad to assist.
