Waiting for a confirmation from my friend on that report.

    Please proceed with RAM test.

Take memtest. Run for 8 passes and test each stick in a know good slot for an additional 6 passes.

       Note
Pay close attention to part 3 of the tutorial in order to rule out the faulty stick out

       Information
Errors are sometimes found after 8 passes.

       Tip
Do this test overnight, before going to bed.

If Memtest86+ does not find any errors with ram run Windows Memory Diagnostics for 7-8 passes following its tutorial:

Thanks again. Like you suggested I'll run it before I sleep. So I'll probably be back after a day or two.

(Yussi - you know your messaging is turned off?)

    Interesting MGADiag report!
The BIOS date is *just* within the acceptable dates for Windows 7 - but the Acer site indicates that it only shipped with Vista installed (and only Home premium or Basic as options), and the BIOS date on the report is the earliest revision available on the site.

'benefit of doubt' applies in this case - although I suspect that a hack has been applied, I can't prove it, and must therefore class it as genuine.

Noel, Yussi is on a break, to gather some concentration to be back to the study table. Shortly, after getting a flow in the studies, she will be back again.

As you are giving a benefit of doubt, we will continue in this thread :)

Kazehaya, let us know the results of memtest. If there are any further crashes, post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.
