Thanks, much better and readable. It confirms you have matched RAM modules. Was it a 4 stick matched set? Also please do memtest with 7 passes per slot/stick. With errors with 4 installed it points ot something being bad, RAM, or slot/board.

EDIT: Never mind, the part number shows it is a 16GB set.

Again, here is the tutorial RAM - Test with Memtest86+ It will tell yiu exactly what to do. But, you already have found errors. What you are trying to determine is if you have a bad ram stick, or if one of the dimm slots is bad. Unfortunately, it takes at least 7 passes to completely test a stick of ram. trust me, we've all been there. So, you have to run each stick for 7 passes in every slot. If you get an error, you can stop the test. Even 1 error is a fail.

    After finishing the RAM tests.
Sometimes with 4 RAM cards or more that 8GB RAM you will need to bump the IMC (Integrated Memory Controller) for your motherboard VCCSA Voltage, and maybe the DRAM voltage.
Go to your BIOS > AI Tweaker >
Find the voltage for DRAM and VCCSA, post here.

This may be the cause of the memtest86+ errors.

So I did the testing through yesterday and most of today. The first slot failed two sticks in a row. Then i put the next to in the next two slots with a pass on both. Then used one of the ones that failed the first slot in the last and that also passed. So it seems that the first slot is having an issue. Should I still try and change memory settings or should i just count the first slot as useless and use the other ones only?

Your memory settings should be what is written on the stick. Read post # 15 and tell us what the dram voltage and VCCSA voltage is in bios.

If two RAM cards failed in slot #1 and then passed in other slots, you have a faulty slot.
    Changing the voltages won't help.
You can try cleaning the problem slot with iso alcohol and a qtip, and re-running the tests.
Depending on the information in your motherboard manual, you might be able to put your RAM cards in other slots. Some motherboards require the RAM to be in specific slots, others are more flexible.

Well I actually tried putting just 2 sticks of ram in. The two slots were the one recommended by the manual. But when I came back after a little bit it had blue screened, windows didn't even recover from it this time and when i restarted it failed to load a couple of times and then blue screened again when it started to boot back up. Then like the fourth time trying it came on. Mobo bad altogether?
