    BSOD tuneup oneclick maintenance

    Hello,

It happens 2-3 times when running tuneup utilities one click maintenance to get BSOD (in order to prevent damaging your computer...). I unistalled TuneUp 2013. May that be the culprit? I heard that this piece of software is known to be causing problems.

Yes, that may be the culprit. Windows 7 does not require tuning up by 3rd party software. Uninstall TuneUp 2013, and then see if your system is stable.

After doing what Golden has suggested. I would recommend doing this. Checking Windows System Files to see if that program messed them up.
Those Tune Up programs can do some nasty things. Please follow instruction exactly.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Thank you very much for your reply.
I have unnistalled TuneUp 2013 and now I don't get any BSOD.

Edit: I will scan windows system files as you've mentioned. Also thank you for advice.

Later Edit: ...found no integrity violations. It seems to me that the system is okay.
Should I do another check or should I also try other things or it is enough?

Monitor your system for a few days - if no BSOD, then everything is OK and you need not do anything further.
