    Multiple BSODs on startup

I am consistently getting BSODs shortly after I log in to windows. I reinstalled windows just a couple of days ago due to BSODs. Most common BCCodes are 1e and a. Need some help identifying root cause and possible solutions. Attached is the SF diagnostic .zip, if I uploaded it correctly.

    Hi Janders,

'Bug Check Code 0x0000000a' may point at a 'bad driver' or a 'Hardware issue'. You may run Memory Diagnostics to check its functionality: RAM - Test with Memtest86+

If no hardware issues are detected, you may check 'Windows Update history' to see if any 'driver update' has taken place, immediately before the Blue-Screen appeared. If yes, please share the details.

If nothing much is observed, please try installing 'Windows Updates' to ensure that the 'Device drivers' are updated. Try updating 'display drivers' from the 'manufacturer's website' and check results.

Hope this helps. Do reply with the make/model of the computer.

Memtest checks out ok, as for the rest...I ended up trying a system restore and it has stopped the BSODs so far. However, yes I was trying to install windows updates after a clean install when it started. As it currently stands my update history shows 3 failed updates. Security update for win7 x64 (KB279949), Update for win7 x64 (KB2505438), and Win7 SP1 (KB976932). I tried installing them a few different times and I always end up getting BSOD shortly after log on.

As for the make/model, it is one I built for myself. MSI P67A-C43 MB, i5-2500k cpu, AMD HD 6850 graphics card, not sure what you're looking for but if that didn't clarify my machine specs just let me know what you're looking for specifically. Thank you for your help thus far.

    Hi Janders,

Thank you for the response; glad that 'Memtest' passed.

It is likely that the 'Bug Check Code - 0x0000000a' may occur due to a 'device driver' installation. Not sure if you could check that after the 'System Restore'; but wanted to know if 'Windows update history' also reflected any 'driver updates' immediately before the 'Bluescreen'. That information could have pointed at a possible 'culprit driver'.

You may try System Update Readiness Tool fixes Windows Update errors in Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 R2, and Windows Server 2008
    - As mentioned in the article, you may run the tool and share the 'CheckSUR Logs'; will try to find issues with 'Windows Update', if required.

Thank you for sharing the make/model of the 'display adapter' being used. You may also try updating/re-installing the 'display drivers' to see if that helps with the second 'Bug Check Code - 0x0000000a' showing up. You may want to download driver for 'AMD HD 6850' (For Windows 7 64 bit): AMD Catalyst

    Hope this helps.
