BSOD. Now even BIOS won't load.

    1) I was using uTorrent and it was very slow and showed 100% memory usage. I checked some forums and following their advice, changed the preferences setting (in uTorrent) to use 50% of the RAM. This resolved the issue but after a while it began to freeze.
    2) Soon it began to freeze every time windows was loading. Sometimes it would not even reach Windows.
    3) I somehow got into safe mode and ran a deep virus scan. About 35% of the way through it blue screened (screenshot attached)

    Now, BIOS won't load.

    Grateful for any assistance.

Tried your suggestion. "Test your RAM".

    Thanks VistaKing,

Tried your suggestion. "Test your RAM".

No luck. It won't boot from USB. It does not even reach BIOS. Just a blank screen when I power on and a faint hum inside pretending it's doing something.

    Any other suggestions?

I have read somewhere, that BIOS recovery may be an option. Acer Aspire 5315 Bios Recovery - Other Computer Related Discussions - The Elder Geek on Windows

Can you reset the memory ? Remove it and put it back in. For a laptop turn off laptop remove battery . For desktop shutdown and unplug power cord from power supply
