BSOD using firefox, 0x0000003b
Hi, I am new on this forums, my friend told me to try here since I had no hope for my blue screen problems
I never had blue screens before on my win 7, and I use it for 3 years, even on this pc after I upgraded my VGA, I never had problems, then I had a virus problems 2 months ago and I decided to format my computer, and one of my HD, the 500gb one, I split to 2 partitions, making a 45gb one for windows, and the other for installed games only, thats about 420gb
I noticed that before format, and even when I formatted this before, always had a 100mb partition for boot, system health etc, and this time I got that partition deleted and made everything on the same 45gb part.
Don't know if that changes anything
Another thing to say is that, I am having artifact issues with my screen, I just got this new vga 5-6 months ago, and I can play games for hours, heavy games like Battlefield 3 on ultra, and never had any problem with artifact or errors while playing any other games tho. My artifacts only happens when watching movies, or when doing nothing but looking into a picture or at my desktop, never when in games, they never had lead me to a blue screen also.
Today and yesterday it happened the same thing, I got a BSOD while using Firefox (just organizing bookmarks from a folder to another in firefox), while downloading something from Firefox, and extracting files from zips, like mods for games etc...
also, I dont have the .dmp from the other 5 blue screens I had this month, just the last one, but its always related to ntoskrnl.exe, every single bsod have this ntoskrnl.exe on it with a different code.
the today one was SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
bug code: 0x0000003b
caused by driver: win32k.sys
caused by address: win32k.sys+c6373
crash address: ntoskrnl.exe+6f840
parameters
00000000`c0000005
fffff960`000d6373
fffff880`04d55070
00000000`00000000
usually the "caused by driver" and "by address" info, it is the ntoskrnl.exe, or the win32k. sys like the last one.
