    STOP Error: 0x000000C2, 0800000007

BSOD with STOP errors as noted in subject.

I had this problem in November and the problem was resolved after I removed AVAST antivirus from the system and replaced it with Microsoft Security Essentials.

This system is getting on in years: maybe it is time to replace.

    Please analyze.

    Thanks so much!

A couple of things come to mind Firstly please run the following commands from an elevated command prompt:

    Code:
    SFC /SCANNOW
    and

    Code:
    chkdsk /r /f
then once those things are done please run memtest86+ for at least 8 Passes:

    RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Tip: do the memtest overnight it can take a long time to complete 8 passes

    RAM test passed

    chkdisc OK
    sfc OK

Have you had a chance to look at the dump files?

    Thanks

Alright Since it seems all of the other tests came back clean please enable driver verifier and allow it to crash your computer:

Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

Once it crashes post your new dump files here. Tip: if you cant boot normally into windows after enabling driver verifier please boot into safe mode and then disable driver verifier.

Please look at attached new dump file created after I ran the driver verifier.
I have since disabled the driver verifier.

I did not check for malware and opted for "watchful waiting" instead. PC ran fine without any blue screens for 11 days.
I will be sending the latest crash dump files later today.

    Crash dump files: recurring BSOD

This has been an ongoing problem that returns after months of error free use.
In this case, the error free time was only 11 days.

Please look at my previous posts.
This PC has had a hard drive replacement after it died less than 18 months after purchase.
I have done a clean install of Windows 7 since Windows Vista proved to be too buggy and I have added RAM to improve performance.

Please find the last dump files.

    Thanks for your support.

It looks like your latest crash was caused by your Graphics driver:

    Code:
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *

Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.
