BSOD Playing Video Games, Error: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR, nvlddmkm.sys 0x116
Hello everybody, I'm sorry if I am breaking any rules or posting this in the wrong place, this is my first post!
My computer BSOD's whenever I play video games (LOL, WOW, etc.) after about 10 minutes of game play.
I have tried re-installing my drivers but that's all I know how to do, I have no tech knowledge whatsoever.
Here is my crash dump analysis:
On Wed 2/20/2013 3:51:28 AM GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\021913-23930-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: nvlddmkm.sys (nvlddmkm+0x9316C4)
Bugcheck code: 0x116 (0xFFFFFA8015F15010, 0xFFFFF8800C7BD6C4, 0xFFFFFFFFC000009A, 0x4)
Error: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR
file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\nvlddmkm.sys
product: NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 314.07
company: NVIDIA Corporation
description: NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 314.07
Bug check description: This indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: nvlddmkm.sys (NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 314.07 , NVIDIA Corporation).
Google query: NVIDIA Corporation VIDEO_TDR_ERROR
And this is all the system information I THINK you all will need: System/Driver Properties - Imgur
Sorry for my limited knowledge and ignorance ): but please tell me if you know of any solutions I could try or if you need any additional information. Thank you!
