Read the step 5 once again.
Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

Have a look at the BIOS ....
    Code:
BIOS Version/Date Award Software International, Inc. FD, 7/23/2010
Old enough for 8. Try to update it.

    Update your ATI/AMD display driver.
You can get it from the link in our forum, Latest AMD Catalyst Video Driver for Windows 7, or you may go to AMD Graphics Driver and Software and opt for Automatically Detect and Install the appropriate driver for your card.

During installation, you may opt for advanced installation, and install the display driver only, not the Catalyst Control Center.

Follow the guide too: Firefox GPU Hardware Acceleration - Turn On or Off

    Update the network driver
    Code:
Name [00000010] Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller
    Driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\rt630x64.sys (8.1.1019.2011, 576.00 KB (589,824 bytes), 6/2/2012 9:31 AM)
    Get it from Realtek

Update your mouse driver, too: Razer Support

Still having issues after updating the drivers you listed. I should note that this SSD is new. I got it 2 months ago, maybe its faulty?

    Have you updated the BIOS?

And, search for any available Firmware update for the SSD.

Bump, I never fixed this issue. I started just dealing with the random freezes but now the BSODs are back. Any help would be appreciated

    Probably caused by : atapi.sys

    Followup: MachineOwner
    ---------
atapi.sys is ATAPI IDE Miniport Driver, an OS component and related to discs. Your best shot will be an approach to update the firmware of KINGSTON SH103S3120G SSD.

Also, I am getting a hint of malware here, suggested some scans earlier to you, not sure you have taken that suggestion or not. Scan the system for possible virus infection.

Let us know the results when both the steps are done.

TDSSKiller did not find anything wrong. I'm about to run the windows defender offline.

    I've searched high and low for any firmware for my SSD, but I just can't find any. This is the closest I got;

    Download SH103_503fw_win, for SH103S3 | Kingston Technology

If this one comes up bad I'm just going to cut my losses and wipe this SSD.

I'll edit this post after defender has ran.

It seems like that is just a utility for their tech support to check and see what firmware your using, serial numbers, etc. I looked in that tool and never found any sort of repair utilities or hardware update utilities.
