    BSOD Driver_Power_State_Failure 0x0000009F

I fixed my previous problems with your help but this one remains.... After logoff the system goes into a shutdown mode and hangs for quite a while... and then I get a stop: 0x0000009F BSOD message.
It says the it is collecting data for a crash dump and says it is initializing disc for crash dump but I can't tell if that ever completes. Suggestions? Thanks.....
    The SF file is attached.....

There's no current dump. Make sure your pagefile is large enough to hold a dump plus 1MB and that there's enough room on the disk.

Something strange though. I can't find your dislplay drivers in MSINFO. Is that file current? It's as though the display drivers weren't loaded.

    Code:

Adapter Description ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series
Adapter RAM 1.00 GB (1,073,741,824 bytes)
    Installed Drivers aticfx64.dll,aticfx64.dll,aticfx64.dll,aticfx32,aticfx32,aticfx32,atiumd64.dll,atidxx64.dll,atidxx64.dll,
    atiumdag,atidxx32,atidxx32,atiumdva,atiumd6a.cap,atitmm64.dll
    Driver Version 9.12.0.0
    INF File oem83.inf (ati2mtag_Evergreen section)

Ok - will try again to have the dump complete....and be back to you later this evening..... Don't know why the display drivers aren't there.... Maybe they will show up this next boot....

    more help needed

Took a while to replicate the problem... logoffs and shutdowns started working... no changes that I noted.... then another set of BSODs with the Driver_Power_State_Failure.
Doesn't look like the dump completes since the message says the drive is intitalizing to allow that to happen.... I have updated all drivers and run Malewarebytes with no negative results - but the BSOD has returned when I try to shutdown.

here is the latest SF file.....attached

Interesting result of all of this.... My printer crashed and I removed ALL the HP software and I no longer seem to have the problems I have been experiencing - just blind luck or coincidence? Hmmm....
