IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL random BSODS

Hi Arc, or anyone else willing to take a look at this...,

My BSODs have decreased in frequency by a huge margin; however, I am still getting BSODs when my system wakes up from sleep. I am wondering if the BSODs from post-sleep are caused by something other than my C-Media driver problem discussed in this thread earlier?

Also important to note: When my computer successfully wakes, there is a 50%+ chance that the two mice I have attached to my computer will not function unless I unplug and re-plug them into the USB port. I am wondering if that is indicative of an underlying problem causing the BSODs, but I'm not sure.

I have attached a new SF Diagnostic overview of my system, should anyone be willing to see what caused my last BSOD and/or what steps I should pursue from here?

As always, your assistance is most appreciated! I will make the appropriate changes as you have specified. Otherwise, the previous recommendations you made in this thread seem to have eliminated my auido-driver BSODs, so thanks again for that! I've been trying to pin that problem down for a year+ now.

One more quick question: Which file and program are using in order to create the BSOD report you quoted in your previous post? I am confident that I can interpret this information on my own, should someone like you be willing to give me a little guidance. In your last post, did you read through my .dump file, or were you looking elsewhere, and which program did you use to read it?

I've had another BSOD. I'm noting that many of my BSODs seem to occur while watching YouTube videos. Usually mid-way through the video, or right after I start up the video, the BSOD will start.

This one did not provide me with an error code. .Rar file attached. I am also going to do my best to analyze it, but also would appreciate any feedback from others as I am still inexperienced at this. Thank you!

Your crash dumps are not showing any finite probable cause. In such a situation, it is better to enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

Why Driver Verifier:
It puts a stress on the drivers, ans so it makes the unstable drivers crash. Hopefully the driver that crashes is recorded in the memory dump.

How Can we know that DV is enabled:
It will make the system bit of slow, laggy.

   Warning

Before enabling DV, make it sure that you have earlier System restore points made in your computer. You can check it easily by using CCleaner looking at Tools > System Restore.

If there is no points, make a System Restore Point manually before enabling DV.

   Tip

• If you fail to get on the Desktop because of DV, Boot into Advanced Boot Options > Safe mode. Disable DV there. Now boot normally again, and try following the instruction of enabling DV again.
• If you cannot boot in Safe mode too, do a System Restore to a point you made earlier.

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

Hey Arc,

I would like to update you that I have reformatted my system, and everything is now running smoothly. After 4 days, I have not experienced any BSODs, which I think is a good sign. As a result, I think we can determine that this matter has been solved. If I get more BSODs, I will start a new thread.

Thanks again for all of your help. I learned much, and think that it will help me should/when I encounter more BSODs in the future.
