    Hi Bonkers,

Your 2 crashes are related to your Anti-virus,

Please uninstall Avast as it is causing your BSOD's.

As an alternative install Microsoft Security Essentials.
Recommended from a strict BSOD perspective, compatibility & stability
compared to other antiviruses/internet security software.

Boy.........thanks Dave. Wonder why that is. I really liked Avast. Microsoft Security Essentials isn't preloaded with Win 7? Is there a way I can check to see if I already have it installed? Thanks for the help Dave, B-72

I kinda wanted to keep Avast installed. It's been good to me. Have had it installed for 6 months with no problems. And I haven't had anymore BSOD sinice I posted. Just wanted to know will these BSOD I've gotten in the past harm my system down the road? Thanks for the input.
