BSOD while downloading Crysis 3

    Hello,

    Here are the results.

    It found no integrity violations.

    It seems to have worked but I don't know what I did differently. The only thing I did differently was when I extracted nvcaa I did it to the desktop and then copied to C:\.


    Since checking that SFC /SCANNOW returns no integrity violations I have had a freeze playing BF3. The error was that 'Direct-X stopped working' or something similar.

    Ah - sorry- I must have misread your question.

    You extracted the files to a folder, rather than direct to the C:\ drive.

    The process of extraction itself creates the required folder, so what you ended up with was the structure

    C:\nvcaa\nvcaa\.....
    rather than
    C:\nvcaa\.....

    - and the files went to the wrong place.
