Same BSOD, hmm. Can you recall whether you made any software/hardware changes before the problem started?

Do you have anything connected to your USB ports?

    Checked for a BIOS update?

Then run driver verifier and see if it catches any misbehaving drivers:

Just as a try .... can you update the network adapter drivers those you use?

And, try uninstalling Cisco AnyConnect VPN Virtual Miniport Adapter for Windows x64? It is often problematic. If you dont want to uninstall, update it from Cisco Systems, Inc (I dont know the specific source of this driver).

No, other than Zone Alarm, no changes hardware or software between the crashes.

I have searched high and low and can not find a newer BIOS than the 11JB version installed.

Atheros driver is 10.0.0.221, which appears to be the newest on their site.

Updated the Yukon driver. I only use the laptop wireless; don't know if that matters.

Uninstalled the VPN software. Haven't used that in about a year.

I'll let you know. Thank you for all the help!

If there is a further crash, enable Driver Verifier as koolkat77 suggested in post #12.

Does verifier show up in Task Manager somewhere? I enabled it (so far, no BSODs), but can't tell if it's running.

Well, it's been stable now for about 3 weeks. I guess it was Zone Alarm, which is weird because I've used ZA for years without a hitch.

Thank you for all the help.
