    Seemingly random BSOD when not at computer.

    I am experiencing BSODs nearly every time I walk away from my machine for more than a couple of minutes. This is a new issue as of yesterday when we returned home from a business trip and hooked my laptop back up at my desk. I have attached the .zip file generated by the diagnostics tool and I am seeing the following error as the cause:

    DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE ntoskrnl.exe

    Getting to that, however, is as far as I know how to troubleshoot. Any help here would be great.

    Thank you in advance!

    It looks like your crash is being caused by your asus charger driver:

    Code:
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *

    *                                                                             *
    *******************************************************************************

    Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

    Looking at the time stamp on the driver we can see it is rather old:

    Thanks for the response!

    I have updated the charger driver and will see if that fixes the issue.

    I do hope it will sort out your problems. Leave the thread open for a week, and if it does not BSOD again mark the thread as solved.
