    BSOD driver_irql_not_less_or_equal

    Hello!
I've had it once before and it was McAffe's fault. It came back and I'm not sure what it is now. Besides this issue, my computer also randomly turns off by itself sometimes with no error messages, I think they're related. I updated my system specs and am posting the kernel dump (is that what it's called?) If I'm doing something wrong, please explain I'll try to do my best.

    Thanks!

Hello Augusto and welcome to Seven Forums.

It seems like McAfee is still causing problems for your machine. The mfefirek driver belongs to McAfee.

    Driver Reference Table - mfefirek.sys

    Code:
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *

    *******************************************************************************

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If kernel debugger is available get stack backtrace.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 000000000000000d, memory referenced
    Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
    Arg3: 0000000000000000, value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
Arg4: fffff8800c2bcd70, address which referenced memory

Did you use the official McAfee "Consumer Products Removal Tool" when you previously uninstalled McAfee?

How to uninstall or reinstall supported McAfee products using the Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR)

You might also want to check for any damaged or corrupt system files by running a system file checker scan from an elevated command prompt (option two.) If problems are found, run the scan 3 times and immediately reboot the computer after each scan.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Thanks! That's very odd, I uninstalled McAffe through their own uninstaller and I can't see any processes but it seems you're right, as the software from their website is working.

Thank you very much for the quick help :)
