BSOD After each time I turn on my computer from standby or hibernation

    Which program can I write to a bootable cd to check my Hard Drive at bootup.

    Also, do you know a possible reason why my hard drive may be acting this way.
    Especially, why is this only after stand by? If something is wrong with the HD, shouldn't issues appear various places. Something is really weird.

    Download the ISO then once it is finished downloading right-click and choose Burn Image to disc . Place a check next to Verify disc after burning disc then click on the Burn button .

    Place the disc into the laptop and reboot press ESC to bring up the one time boot menu. Choose your optical drive and proceed .
    Press 2 to select " ATA support only "
    Press A key on your keyboard to agree when you get to the License Agreement screen
    Choose the hard drive you want to run the test on and press Y on the Device List screen

    The test will start . If you get a green square your drive is good if you get a red one it's bad .

    We are running the diagnostic to see what the results are . If it passes the test than we will go from there .

    Press " R " for it to Rescan Bus this time choose number 1 and see if your hard drive is listed. If not go into BIOS and see what the Hard drive Configuration is . Is it IDE or SATA or AHCI. If its AHCI change it to either SATA or IDE.
