So I started the mem test again, I have done it at least 3 times before, and this time (last night) it hit a bunch of errors on the first pass. From there I tried to determine which DIMM is bad, I have 2. And I can't. I tried one DIMM for a few passed, nothing. Tried the next one, nothing. Moved DIMM1 to slot 2 and received 1 error. Tried DIMM2 on slot 2 nothing. Tried DIMM1 back in slot 1 for a bunch of passes, nothing. DIMM2 again in slot 1 nothing. Both DIMMs again together for a few passes nothing.

I am feeling like the RAM is bad, but I am frustrated that I can't get a constant failure rate. I will contact Corsair and see what they will do for me.

If Memtest86+ starts showing errors, Stop testing. Errors/red lines means one or more RAM is faulty. But the fault may occur due to a faulty DIMM slot, too, which is a motherboard component. Using memtest86+, you can discriminate between a faulty RAM and a faulty motherboard.

How? Say you have two RAM sticks and two DIMM slots. You obtained errors at the test with all RAM sticks installed. Now, remove all the sticks but one. Test it in all the available slots, one by one. Continue the same procedure for all the available sticks.
How to make the inference that is it a RAM issue or it is a motherboard issue? Suppose you have got the result like that:
No code has to be inserted here. It is a RAM, a bad RAM.

But if you have got a result like that:
No code has to be inserted here. It is a motherboard issue. The particular slot is bad.

Anyway, better you replace the RAM as you have got errors. Let us know how the computer is working with the replacement RAM.

I have tried to determine if it is the RAM or Mobo, but can't. The darn errors don't show up every time I test. Which is weird, from what I have seen in the past is when RAM fails, it fails is a spectacular way.

Oh well. I will have to wait and see what Corsair does for me. I will update as soon as I can.

    Thanks for the help again.
