I've scanned for rootkits twice and found nothing. Windows defender offline found a low priority virus that has been dealt with. Will try the rest.

Everything's come back fine. Haven't done the Memtest yet though, so will do that overnight.
If it helps: I've noticed restarts happen more commonly AFTER I exit a game.

Run some hard-drive diagnostics and follow these steps:

Find your hard-drive manufacturer and run their tests.

    Additional Tests:

Post a screenshot of Crystal Disk Info summary:

If you have an SSD, make sure the following are up to date:
    • SSD firmware
    • BIOS Version
    • Chipset Drivers
    • Hard disk controller drivers/SATA drivers
    • If you have a Marvell IDE ATA/ATAPI device, make sure the drivers are up to date from the Intel site or Marvell site and not from your motherboard/vendor support site.
Check for any file system errors and bad sectors using Option #2 of:

Use this command with Disk Check:

    Code:
    chkdsk C: /f /r

It's all come back with nothing. I've jumped ship and installed Windows 8 on a seperate partition. I'm gonna work with that for a while and see if I get any errors. Would a corrupted OS be a potential cause for all of this?

If no problems were found from the tests then, the operating system itself is not corrupted.

    I upgraded to Windows 8 Pro x64.
Not getting any resets now but I'm getting complete lock ups where the pc will freeze and not respond. Any sound that is playing will distort.

I've done all the tests that have been offered up and it's all come back with nothing. I even upgraded my RAM just to absolutely make sure that it wasn't that.

    Totally at a loss now

Can you plug the SATA cables to an unused SATA ports on the motherboard?
From the last MSINFO32 you have updated, there was no driver installed for AMD SATA Controller. Its odd. May be it is a port controller error only? I was not 100% sure, so asked xBlueRobot to help.

Would the "chipset drivers" be the ones I'd get for SATA controllers?

Yes, but I think you have installed the chipset drivers already?

In all the dumps you uploaded, there were ataport.sys error present. Initially I thought it might be a virus. But scabs came negative. So, try installing the chipset for one more time.
