Man, I know you were told to do this, but this screw things up even further.

Now we have to help you getting your bios in order, because now everything is on default.

Especially since in most bios's, by default acpi is off, pnp OS is set no,
smartfan is off, etc.

We need to know what mainboard you have. Brand and model.
It's written somewhere in the middle of the board.

I know how or at least have a good idea on how to get to the spot to change those settings.. I just need to know what to change and what not to.

Well, I had the manual in PDF, but apparently I must have thrown it away.

Important settings

You need to set the right time and date

acpi needs to be enabled

pnp OS? needs to be set to yes.

USB legacy, better set it to yes

That should do it for now.

Well, the next part is the hard part.

You need a Windows install DVD.

Can't do anything without it.
