The problem here is SPTD.sys.
Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall the program at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :Code:Device object (fffffa800a727cb0) is for: InfoMask field not found for _OBJECT_HEADER at fffffa800a727c80 \Driver\HDAudBus DriverObject fffffa800a725980 Current Irp 00000000 RefCount 0 Type 0000002a Flags 00002004 DevExt fffffa800a876f60 DevObjExt fffffa800a727e28 ExtensionFlags (0x00000800) DOE_DEFAULT_SD_PRESENT Characteristics (0x00000100) FILE_DEVICE_SECURE_OPEN AttachedTo (Lower) fffffa8007be3040Unable to load image \SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\sptd.sys, Win32 error 0n2 *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for sptd.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for sptd.sys \Driver\ACPI Device queue is not busy.
- Double click to open it.
- Click this button only:
- If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.
Download and install this version of Intel Rapid Storage.
Uninstall Avast using Avast Uninstall Utility. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.
Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.
Atheros Valkyrie USB BootRom driver is also contributing in the BSODs.
Update it from ATHEROS drivers for Microsoft Windows (Atheros?????)Code:******************************************************************************* * * * Bugcheck Analysis * * * ******************************************************************************* Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information. If possible, try to update the BIOS from Toshiba Satellite's website, for NWQAA.
Let us know the results. And with the next post, upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.Code:BiosVersion = 2.20 BiosReleaseDate = 09/14/11
- Click on the start button
- Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
- File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
- Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
- Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.
i dont have any of thoes iso programs but i do use poweriso which i replaced with winCDemu, ill test to see if it uses the sptd (edit: used uninstall)
the atheros drivers came from a bluetooth adapter i have thats branded asus. https://www.asus.com/Networking/USBB...etooth_Dongle/
im not sure if its necessary for the operation of the dongle or even what driver to get.
i scan with mbam monthly and use avast with security essentials, is it necessary to uninstall avast? i must admit i love watching the shields and activity monitors.
im also having to start explorer.exe manually on startup and having problems wit system diagnostic and event log services not working. should i make a different thread for thoes?

Using more than one real time protection program is very bad. It does not only make you unsecured against the threats, but they causes various troubles including BSODs. You have three installed. MSE, Avast, and Comodo.
Uninstall Avast using Avast Uninstall Utility. Uninstall Comodo following this method. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.
Super antiSpyware also have some compatibility issue there. So better you uninstall that one, too.
The source of SPTD is Alcohol 120% for you.
Uninstall it, and SPTD as suggested earlier.Code:Start Menu\Programs\Alcohol 120%
You have 30 items stored in startup. Remove them as follows. Free up the startup.
- Click on the Start button
- Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
- Select the “Startup” tab.
- Deselect all items other than the antivirus (MSE) and the touchpad driver, SynTPEnh.
- Apply > OK
- Accept then restart.
Dont worry, by removing those you will not loss anything. Otherwise I would not have suggested it to you.
Report back after following all the suggestions.
taking everything off, have to boot into safemode to remove avast.
also alcohol didnt show up in comodo's remove or windows remove so im just searching in c/ for all files and deleting them manually.
edit: bsod when shutting down, not sure if means anything. Still having to start explorer.exe manually

did a sfc/scannow and patched the files and a dskchk, trying to fix the explorer.exe start issue
It is caused by Folder lock.
So in this situation you should uninstall Folder Lock.Code:******************************************************************************* * * * Bugcheck Analysis * * * ******************************************************************************* Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.
